A series of events, bad luck and bad decisions have brought me to the rather precarious position I find myself in today.

Last year, I spent the majority of the year as the unpaid carer of an 82-year-old in France as her health dramatically declined. I was meant to spend 2 weeks assisting, but when family members failed to step-up, I had to stay on and ended up there for over 9 months. Though there were good times, the pressures and stress mounted and I lost focus on my work - writing and broadcasting - due to sheer exhaustion.

Worn out and having had something of a break down, I returned to the United Kingdom after the lady mentioned sadly died after multiple hospitalisations and am now attempting to get back on track. Having given up my former UK home and my income having evaporated in this period, I stayed with a friend temporarily, but this situation has had to end due to their own relocation.

I have been lucky to have been given storage for the few possessions I have and am now down to a suitcase. I am now effectively homeless, but want to rebuild with a YouTube channel and a return to writing about true crime cases and other matters; I am willing also to take on other work also.

I need to raise sufficient funds to find a base to live and to cover the basic costs of starting again wherever that may be. Any help would be truly appreciated and additionally, I am ready and willing meanwhile for duties as a housesitter, etc also if such an opportunity might be available.
