"Help Me Get Back on My Feet and Move Forward"
Donation protected
Introduction: "I'm reaching out because I'm in a tough spot and could really use some help. My car just died, and I've been unable to find work since moving to Florida. I've been bouncing around trying to find a stable and safe environment, but I'm still trying to get back on my feet. The past few years have been incredibly difficult—dealing with the loss of my family and struggling with trauma that I haven’t been able to properly grieve due to the constant pressure to survive."
The Immediate Need (Bike): "I need a cheap bike for transportation, which would cost around $50-$100. Without a car, it's been difficult to get to job interviews and even basic errands. While this would help me get around for now, I'm also planning ahead for a long-term solution, which would be an e-bike (starting at $800) to ensure reliable transportation for work. An e-bike would help me get to and from work without the added stress of not having a car."
Current Situation: "Right now, I don't have a job, I can't afford therapy or the medicine I need, and the state of Florida doesn't offer the medical help I need (like Medicaid). On top of that, I had my SNAP Benefits cut off due to a vocational work requirement that I couldn’t meet because I briefly worked at a charter school. It feels like I'm caught in an endless cycle, but I’m doing my best to stay strong and keep moving forward."
The Bigger Picture (Future Plans): "I'm committed to improving my situation. I've been taking courses to teach Business English to corporate professionals abroad. I have plans to move overseas, but I need to save $5000 for the move, and right now, it feels out of reach. It's a big goal, but it’s what’s keeping me going. I need to take this step to rebuild and find peace and stability after so much hardship."
What Your Help Will Do: "The support I’m asking for is simple—help me get the basics I need to move forward: a bike for transportation and the ability to save for future plans. I’m not asking for a handout; I’m just asking for a little help to get me through this tough time so I can get back on my feet and create a future where I can finally heal and grow."
Closing:
"Any donation, big or small, will go a long way in helping me move forward. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for your support. I know with a little help, I can turn things around."
