Help me get back on my feet after spinal surgery
Donation protected
My name is Charlie and I bulged my disc in my spine badly just before Christmas in December. I was unable to work from Christmas til the end of April, quite frankly I wasn't even able to sit in a chair. I would pass out if I didn't take my pain medication within the first 5 minutes of waking up in the mornings. I couldn't drive. It was entirely debilitating and not conducive with life and I'm certain that I would not be alive if my surgery had been delayed for any more weeks. I have supported myself financially for five months with no financial assistance, had surgery in March and was just cleared to return to work. Some bills have caught up with me however; mainly, my bill for my green card application to remain in the US. I have realised I have to swallow my pride and ask for financial help so that I can remain in the US with my dogs and my second home. My injury drained my bank account, my bank won't give me a loan as they state my company isn't old enough (even though according to their terms and conditions it is actually old enough), and I've run out of options to turn to. My lawyer has asked for a minimum of $3k to be paid by the end of this week, and have allowed a payment plan for the remaining amount.
Please watch the video if you want a little more information (or if you want to see me try not to ugly cry).
$11800 would pay for my green card application. I have another $6k of immediate bills for tax and pets, but I can manage this with time if the fundraiser doesn't get this close (I was able to secure a loan for the veterinary care if I need to). This total would get me back to square one to rebuild after my surgery.
If you enjoy my content or enjoy working with me, please help in whatever way you can... even if it's just a share.
