In June of last year, I was involved in a car accident caused by another driver. Although their insurance paid off my car, I was left without transportation and haven’t been able to afford a replacement. Since then, simply getting from place to place has become a major challenge. Then in February of this year, I was told I would be laid off, and by March I was officially without a job. Around that same time, I also learned that I owe a significant amount in taxes because of an unexpected mistake. Everything seemed to hit at once—losing my vehicle, losing my income, and then finding out about a tax debt I wasn’t prepared for.

Right now, I’m trying to raise money so I can buy a reliable car and take care of my tax debt. Having transportation is essential for me to get back to work and provide for my family. With my son due in about five months, this support would make a huge difference in helping me get back on my feet and prepare for his arrival.
