Hey y'all, my name is Aaron. A while back, my workplace laid me and most of my coworkers off. I searched for steady work right away, but after getting turned down repeatedly, I fell severely behind on rent and ultimately lost my apartment. Since then, I've been getting by doing gig work like DoorDash and Instacart, bouncing between my car and random couches.

The good news is that I recently started a new job that pays well! I am planning to put my first few paychecks straight toward getting back into an apartment. However, between the cost of gas, food, and everyday living expenses while working out of my car, I am still a month or more away from realistically saving enough on my own.

I'm reaching out to help speed up this process and get a stable roof over my head sooner. More than anything, I want a safe place where my kids can come visit and hang out. Right now they live full-time with their mom, and while I go spend time with them whenever I can, having a place of my own for them would mean the world to me.
