Hi, my name is Andrea. I moved to the U.S. after being promised a work visa and a U.S. salary. I sold everything I had in Mexico to take this opportunity. But just three weeks after arriving, the company backed out, leaving me with nothing and no way back.

I chose to stay and live off my savings while searching for a new opportunity. For the past 7 months, I’ve tried everything I could but unfortunately, things didn’t work out. I recently got rejected from what felt like my last chance. Now I’m emotionally and financially exhausted, and it’s time for me to go back to Mexico.
