I have cystic fibrosis, which is a progressive lung disease. Over the last six months, my need for extra help getting around has increased a lot. I now need supplemental oxygen and a wheelchair, especially when I go somewhere that requires a lot of walking. Unfortunately, I can’t walk for long periods of time, and even short distances are getting difficult for me.

Recently, I came across an electric wheelchair that would be perfect for my situation. With this wheelchair, I’d be able to take Aleeya to the park—something she absolutely loves doing. I don’t always have access to a vehicle during the day while her dad is working, so this would help tremendously and give me some of my freedom back. My insurance will not cover this wheelchair, so I’m reaching out for help.
