Hello, my name is Lane and I've never done anything like this before.

About 2 weeks ago, I took my vehicle in to a mechanics, and I had multiple oil leaks to fix. All in all it ran me about $4400 in order to fix. While it sucked, I was able to get some financing to assist with affording this repair.

3 days after I pay for the car and get it back from the mechanic, the gearshift has locked up and is looking to be another few hundred dollars that I just can not afford.

All I'm looking to get is the wasted $4400, with the goal of putting that money towards buying a new used vehicle in order to get me to and from work.

I've been trying to save money so I can go visit, and eventually immigrate, to my fiance in Wales and this has undone 4 months of work.

Until I can get enough money to buy a new car, I will have to pay for a rental vehicle because my place of employment is an hour commute one way, which will only further hamper my ability to have any savings whatsoever.
