I live in a very rural town, and trying to raise funds to buy a car. I have a job at a gas station, but am unable to get more hours as we're currently full staff, and we can only work 2-3 days per week between us all with $11 an hour pay, with that being the only job around me as other towns are 30 minutes in either direction from me. It's very hard to save with other expenses. I need this car by winter, as the one I currently have, I am borrowing, and the owner will need it back come winter, and without a vehicle, I will be out of work as I can't get myself to work and back (Getting an uber to my area is more than I can afford). I'm looking to get a cheap, but reliable beater car within the $1,000-$1,200 range, and am only looking to raise $800, as I can take care of the rest of it myself. Any donation no matter how small would be greatly appreciated, as having a vehicle will not only allow me to stay employed, but open so many more opportunities for me.
