Help Me Get a New Service Dog After Losing Sigmund

On Christmas Day, I experienced an unimaginable loss—my beloved service dog, Sigmund, passed away suddenly from bloat. Sigmund was more than just a dog; he was my partner, protector, and lifeline. For years, he provided me with the support I needed to navigate daily life, offering both practical assistance and deep emotional comfort. Losing him has been devastating, and adjusting to life without him has been incredibly difficult.

Service dogs are not pets; they are highly trained working dogs that provide life-changing support to their handlers. Without Sigmund, I have lost not only a dear companion but also the essential assistance he provided.

Although my puppy hasn't yet been born, I have an amazing breeder and am starting to fundraise, as the cost of obtaining and training a service dog is significant. From selecting the right puppy to professional training, veterinary care, and necessary equipment, the expenses quickly add up. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover these costs, leaving me to navigate this financial burden on my own.
