Help me get a new laptop to continue college

My usual laptop (4GB RAM, 500 HDD) just broke down and the technician told me since it's so old, there is no longer any hardware being produced for it therefore it cannot be fixed. That device has been with me since 2018 and it's reasonable for it to shut down after all these years of intense use and even gaming (which honestly it isn't built for but it's what I could afford), and to continue college I am in desperate need of a replacement.

The computer lab in college isn't viable since no software can be installed due to security rules and regulations (I need an art program and my tablet's drivers) and cyber cafes are the same, a personal equipment is the only way.
