I'm reaching out because I've made the decision to get a service dog to help with my disabilities, which have become more challenging lately. My journey has included recovery from brain tumor removal, an intracranial hemorrhage after surgery, seizures, a blood clotting disorder, adrenal fatigue causing rapid hypotension, Crohn’s Disease, PTSD, and generalized anxiety. Each of these conditions brings its own set of struggles, and together they have made daily life and recovery much more difficult.
A service dog will be life-changing for me. This specially trained poodle mix will help alert me to blood pressure drops so I can take my medication, monitor heart rate changes, and provide much-needed emotional support. Because I am allergic to many breeds, a poodle mix is the best fit for my needs. Once certified, my service dog will be able to accompany me everywhere, helping me regain my independence and confidence.
The costs for purchasing and training a service dog are significant, especially since I am on disability. If you are able to support my journey with a donation, it would mean the world to me. No amount is too small, and your help will make a real difference in my life as I work to regain my independence.
