Hello. My name is Dona, 3 months ago, I made a bold decision to move from NY to London, England with my 2 emotional support cats for peace of mind and finish writing my 2nd poetry book. From 2019-2023 I endured 4 serious back to back open heart surgeries. Being a single senior, I recuperated months alone in hospital then at home with my 2 cats after each one. I had been working regularly for years as a featured background Actress on popular TV shows when my 1st Emergency heart event occurred. Because I had savings, I didn't ask for help then but didn't know I was to experience complications. Actresses can't get paid if you can't show up for work so my savings eventually depleted. I owned a small, very old home with problems I could no longer maintain. I chose to sell it as is, pocketing very little money which I used to get us to England. Once here, I was unaware that I couldn't get an apartment lease on my Visa and was forced to stay in hotel studios that allowed pets. Eventually, I was able to find a temporary affordable flat share with my cats but time here is over and bulk money is spent. However, I recently discovered, landlords will work around the Visa issue if I could pay 3- 6 months rent upfront! I really need help to do this. Also, in order for me to obtain a Visa to stay in London, I'd need to apply as a student and I need tuition fees which I no longer have. My social security monthly income is enough to cover my rent and food expenses. If you only knew how much healthier and happier I am every day here, you'd understand why I need to stay and I need your help to make it happen.
