Help me get out of this abusive house, please.

Hello, my name is alyssa and i’ve been living in poverty for a while now. My house is filled with flies, roaches, spiders, and slugs during the spring time. I own a small tuxedo kitten, while the others in the house own two dogs and 4 cats, however, when it comes to me i’m not very appreciated. The animals are fed more than i am, they aren’t spayed or have shots, our parents force them to breed with random strays to sell the babies for money. whenever we clean the house it always ends up dirtier more than before, everyday im spending money on cleaning products and hygiene, but it never really makes any type of difference because the rest of my family/ parents always trash the house.

My mom has always spent her remaining money on materialistic things, gucci, chanel sunglasses, or jewelry, and never to fumigate or get rid of all the bugs, buy our favorite snacks and food, or to take care of the animals. Food is always covered in roaches fecal matter, fridge food is always rotting, and the pantry is completely infested with you name it. When it came to me and my brothers it was always up to us to buy a roll of duct tape or staples for our clothes if they ripped or fell apart.

As for my dad he recently passed away from lung cancer, the bathrooms here are filled with black mold and the floors are always soaked in dog and cat pee/poop... Nobody cleans them up, nobody empty’s the litter box, and nobody throws out the trash…So to my understanding, i don’t know if that was possibly the reason why, or if it was another reason i don’t know about. Everyday, i feel more and more sick, my lugs hurt and it hurts to cough, i have very watery eyes constantly, and headaches never go away. I feel as if it’s a biohazard here, but unfortunately the cops and CPS have done literally nothing because we’re “still alive and healthy with access to food and water.” Like seriously? Me and my brother are struggling together, to keep the house from falling apart, but we’re constantly losing ourselves and we cannot afford to be here any longer.

Our names are not on the house and our mother forces us to pay rent and if we don’t, we get kicked out unfortunately and it’s to the streets with all the other animals. I’m making this go fund me not for myself, but for my amazing brother, my baby kitten, and my two dogs and other cats, and yes, i have tried giving them away to a better and more financially stable home, but sadly nobody wants animals that have fleas, nor have shots or spay, so we’d have to take them to the pound where they’ll eventually get euthanized. It you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading my story, and hopefully one day all of us can leave to a happier place, with a clean house and healthy animals, as for the family who didn’t want to help, they can stay and rot with the rest of the house sadly, because we have tried everything.
