I'm about to start college after graduating high school, and for the first time, I'll be living on my own and supporting myself completely. My family isn't able to help with my expenses, so I'm responsible for everything from rent to groceries. One of the biggest challenges I'm facing is not having a car. Without reliable transportation, it's been really hard to find a job—most of the opportunities near my college are limited, and public transit doesn't always get me where I need to go.

Having a car would make a huge difference in my life. It would open up so many more job opportunities, allowing me to apply for positions that aren't just within walking distance or on a bus route. Reliable transportation would also help me manage daily life, from getting to class to running errands and making sure I can take care of myself as I start this new chapter.
