Help bring clean, reliable water to the women of Katete, Eastern Province, Zambia
In Katete clean water is becoming increasingly scarce. Drought dried out many wells, remaining sources are often muddy or contaminated & the few boreholes are overused & breaking down. Women & children walk long distances carrying heavy buckets on their heads — families risk illness from unsafe water. With your help we could:
-Clean and deepen existing wells
-Repair broken boreholes
-Install new boreholes and safe water points
1 borehole costs $1.700 ( we need at least 4 to cover the basic needs of the women and their families of the area)
1 well repairing costs $170 (we need at least 15)
1 well deepening costs $140 ( we need at least 10)
Our goal is to ensure every family in the community and nearby villages has access to safe water close to home — reducing illness, saving time, and restoring dignity.
Please join us. Any contribution helps: donate, share this campaign, or start a fundraiser of your own. Together we can make a lasting difference for Katete families.♥️
