Helping Lives Matter: Support MBIC’s Daily Programming

Helping Lives Matter.

Every day at MBIC, something powerful happens.

  • A veteran rebuilds structure after service-related injury.
  • A former professional relearns daily skills after a stroke.
  • An older adult regains confidence after cognitive decline.
  • A survivor of trauma finds stability in routine and community.

Many of the individuals we serve once led fully independent lives. An accident, tumor, stroke, military service injury, domestic violence, or other life-altering event changed everything.

At MBIC, we help rebuild what was lost — structure, independence, connection, dignity.

Our programs are often supported through Medicaid and state-based reimbursement systems. However, those systems operate on delayed payment cycles that can create temporary funding gaps for community-based providers like us.

We cannot pause services while waiting for reimbursement.

Meals must still be served.
Programs must still run.
Support must still be provided.

This Brain Injury Awareness Month, we are asking our community to help bridge this temporary gap so that daily programming continues uninterrupted.

Your support today helps ensure stability tomorrow.

$50 sustains daily engagement
$150 supports structured life-skills programming
$1,000 underwrites meals and essential support

We are not asking for sympathy.
We are asking for partnership.
