Help me fund the recording of my debut single
My name is Tríona Horan, a Limerick city native and a folk singer-songwriter. I'm setting up this fundraiser to make it possible for me to record my debut single, in time for release on 12th July, to coincide with Limerick Pride.
The song is called 'Love is Love'. It's very personal and important to me. Over the past few years, I've began to explore my sexuality. Having considered myself to be heterosexual for all of my life, when I realised that I wasn't, it brought a great sense of freedom, and this song is about celebrating that and honouring all of myself. I started to notice women a lot more, hence this song coming about, and me acknowledging that I'm bisexual.
The lyrics talk about a potential first encounter with a woman who I'm attracted to, and how I pictured us interacting.
I've been in touch with Ben Wanders, of Wanderland Recording in Limerick, a brilliant producer & musician, and he has agreed to record the song for me. He will also mix & master it. I'm booked in for 14th June to record, yay! Which is no length away! Once released, it will be available on my bandcamp page and also on streaming platforms.
In order to make this happen, I need to raise some money to fund part of the cost of the recording, mixing and mastering. There will also be artwork & distribution costs. I am aiming to raise €450 and I'm asking for your help to do this please. I would just absolutely love to get this off the ground and get my music into the world. If you can donate, I would be so grateful. I will organise a digital version of the song to be sent to anyone who donates.
Thank you for your help ❤
