Help me fund my Masters at Cambridge
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Ravinder. I was recently offered a Masters in Sociology at Cambridge University, but I am unable to afford it due to Cambridge's classist fee system. I am estranged from my family, so have no financial support, but after working hard to get this offer I don't want to have to reject it due to my financial situation. The tuition alone is £24,000 - while student loans can cover about half of this fee, I can't afford the rest of it. In addition, living costs are estimated to be around £14,500, so the total estimated cost will be £38,500 - this is entirely impossible for me to afford. While I am constantly looking for scholarships and bursaries, these are hard to come by and extremely competitive.
Studying at Cambridge could turn my life around - instead of struggling to find steady employment and struggling financially, I would be able to have a Masters in a subject that I am so passionate about. I want to join academia and help to create social change for marginalised communities, and this Masters course can help me do that.
I would really appreciate if anyone could donate to help me fund my studies. It hasn't been easy funding my undergrad degree while trying to find freelance work wherever I can, but I have pushed through, and now I have an amazing opportunity that I don't want to have to reject. Thank you so much to anyone who can donate, no matter how much <3
