Help me fund my Lunar Gala line

My clothing line, Stack, was accepted to Carnegie Mellon's student-run fashion show, Lunar Gala. The line is experimental, as I have opted to explore form and movement entirely with rigid materials.

I'm creating each piece from 3D-printed plastic and stacked layers of laser-cut foamcore to achieve my desired look yet also have lightweight rigidity. Unfortunately, these materials make the line expensive to produce, so I am looking for help to fund this artistic endeavor.

Supporting this campaign will help me afford the expensive materials and production processes as well as any potential transportation and storage costs associated with the line.

Funding this project will enable unique experimentation with unconventional materials and manufacturing processes for fashion. For example, no sewing or fabric is used in the line.

Additionally, completing this line will allow me to accomplish something beyond anything I have ever done before. It will give me intense exposure to fashion design, something I have been interested in for a while but have had almost no experience with in the past.

The show is on February 17, 2018, but I plan to have most, if not all, of the production completed by mid-January 2018.

This is an ambitious project, but I hope that, with your help, my ambitions can become a reality.
