Hello, my name is Mona Ayesh.

I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments of my life, with a heavy heart. I was recently convicted in relation to an incident that took place during a protest. I firmly believe this outcome is unjust, and I am now working through the legal process to challenge it.

This situation has deeply impacted me and my future, placing an overwhelming emotional and financial burden on me—one that I cannot carry alone. I am currently pursuing an appeal because I believe in the importance of fairness and in having my voice fully heard.

What I am going through is not only personal—it reflects a broader concern. Many pro-Palestinian activists feel they are being unfairly treated or disproportionately targeted in ways that can silence their voices. I believe my case reflects some of these concerns.

Pursuing justice comes at a significant cost. The legal fees for my appeal total $33,000 CAD, with an initial payment of $6,000 due by April 13. Without support, continuing this process feels nearly impossible.
