Hello, my name is Zayda. For over 10 years, I worked in retail. While I was grateful for the experience, I knew deep down it wasn’t the future I wanted. I’ve always loved computers—ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by how they worked. In late 2023, I made the bold decision to leave retail behind and fully commit to pursuing my passion for Information Technology.

Over the past year and a half, I have taken the time to study, grow, and build a foundation in IT. So far, I’ve proudly earned:

While I’ve already completed these certifications most jobs will ask for the CompTIA A+ Certification. This certification is considered the industry standard for anyone starting in IT—it’s this credential that will finally allow me to land my first IT support or help desk job and officially break into the field.

To prepare, I need to purchase CompTIA CertMaster Learn (the official training program) and the two required exam vouchers. The cost is about $1,200 total, which I cannot cover on my own right now.
