My name is Milad Ghayour, and I’m seeking your support to fund a private prosecution after being violently assaulted by security staff at Hippodrome Casino in London on 6 May 2023. I was choked, mocked, and physically harmed in an unprovoked attack—and the incident was captured on CCTV and audio footage.
Despite overwhelming evidence, the Metropolitan Police, their internal investigators (PSU), MOPAC, and the IOPC all failed to act appropriately. I was left with no option but to educate myself in law and fight this battle alone for over two years. Now, I am ready to take legal action—but I need your help.
What Happened
On 6 May 2023, I was physically assaulted and choked by casino security staff.
was violently assaulted by casino security staff simply because I stood up against wrongdoing. I suffered actual bodily harm (ABH), including serious physical injuries and long-term emotional trauma. The police failed to act, took the side of the aggressors, and dismissed my complaint — a pattern that is all too familiar to many.
Because of repeated injustice, I had to study law as a second degree, just to be able to defend myself and hold those in power accountable. This campaign is not just about me — it’s about challenging a system that protects institutions over individuals.
What can be seen in the partial video I shared here
I repeatedly said “I can’t breathe,” but was mocked with words like “You wanted to be a big man, huh?” while I was restrained and gasping for air.
The assault caused physical injuries, including a damaged tongue, bruising, scratches, and a cut above my eyebrow.
Partial body-worn camera (BWC) footage confirms my distress—and the voices of staff mocking me as I struggled to breathe.
I later obtained over 20 CCTV files from inside the venue, proving the police and complaints bodies misrepresented the facts.
Limitation
Due to ongoing legal proceedings and the privacy rights of individuals involved, I’ve limited what I can publicly share.
⚖️ What I Did
I reported the assault immediately to the police.
I made formal complaints to PSU, MOPAC, and IOPC.
All of them relied only on the officer’s original account and dismissed my concerns.
I was told no wrongdoing took place, even though evidence later proved otherwise.
I made multiple Subject Access Requests, ICO complaints, and legal letters to obtain the truth.
I am now preparing to privately prosecute the individuals involved, as the police and CPS refused to act.
Why This Matters
This case is not just about me. It highlights a systemic failure in our justice and complaints system.
The police closed the case despite available footage.
Oversight bodies refused to reopen the case even after receiving the footage.
The institutions designed to protect citizens protected the aggressors instead.
What Your Donation Will Support
I am representing myself and doing everything I can, but the cost of justice is high. Your donation will help cover:
Court application and hearing fees
Legal advice from barristers and solicitors
Evidence analysis and redaction
Document printing and court bundles
Secure storage for large video files (20+ GB of evidence)
Travel and administrative costs
Expert witnesses if required
Why I Need Help
I am not eligible for legal aid, and most law firms refused to take the case due to the sensitive nature—going up against a major casino, the Met Police, and public bodies.
I’ve exhausted my savings and still face significant expenses to move forward. Without your support, I may not be able to see this through.

Expose a culture of denial, dishonesty, and cover-up
Support justice for everyday people failed by the system
If I succeed, this will not just be a personal victory—it could set a precedent for many others in the UK facing similar injustice.
Please share. Please support. Justice starts with action.
Thank you,
Milad Ghayour
