Help me fund a funeral for a fellow Submariner
Donation protected
Andrew 'Frankie' Vaughan sadly Crossed the bar on Wed 15th April, he has been taken from us far too early and unfortunately Frankie lived on his own in Tickhill near Doncaster and had few if any funds/savings, I realise that we are all suffering during this worldwide crisis but let's dig deep and give this fellow Submariner the send off that he truly deserves. Frankie joined the Royal Navy on 12th August 1970 and after initial training joined HMS Bulwark, on completion of his first sea draft he transferred to the Submarine Service and joined his first boat HMS Roqual, Frankie also served on HMS Grampus, HMS Olympus, HMS Cachalot and finally HMS Warspite. He was a member of the following Associations: HMS Ganges Association, HMS Bulwark/Albion and Centaur Association, and he was a member of Buddies in Boats (BiBs) Frankie attended as many BiBs Bashes/reunions as he could and always brought a smile to everyone's faces, he would usually turn up with his set dyed purple and with his trusty companion Maxtoo (Maxtoo was his beloved Collie dog). Frankie your final watch is complete, rest your oars shipmate, you will be forever in our thoughts....RESURGAM.
