Help Me Fully Heal from ALS

Dear friends, I have a big ask.

Recently I was diagnosed w/ ALS, which is a degenerative neuromuscular disease. Naturopathically it is referred to as a viral inflammatory condition which I prefer using. Either way, in the beginning my world was rocked and has had a major impact on my life. It has impaired my balance, ability to walk which now requires lots of focus and effort so I don’t fall, ability to hold things w/left hand and even talking is quite challenging. And if you know me, you know I like to talk.

In regards to treatment I was given two choices. Western wanted to put me on drugs and leave me hopeless. Naturopathic requires I take lots of supplements and other natural treatments as well. Although the Naturopathic approach is all out of pocket, it leaves me w/Hope and a Bright light at the end of the tunnel. People do recover from this and I am one of them.

The first symptom showed up Oct 2022. Joyfully, without knowing exactly what was happening, I immediately began being proactive in treatment. At the end of September 2023 when it was fully identified is when we cranked up the natural treatments. As I heal, which I am, it may take me anywhere from 6-12 months to start seeing significant results.

I was just informed that I am not to fly for 12 months because of the negative impact stress has on the body. Yet at 2 months in, I am not slurring my words as I was in beginning of October. Although this has definitely slowed me down, it is Not taking me out!

Aside from not being ready to leave this planet just yet and knowing I have more to give back, I have an agreement w/William Ki, who I love and adore. He is the grandson I never had and wants me to be at his fiftieth birthday. So, I have to get better and stay healthy.

My ask is would you be so kind to contribute to my Go Fund Me account. I would greatly appreciate it. There are moments when I can barely function and then there are moments like now where I have energy and focus. With the ongoing medical expenses that are turning this around yet not covered by insurance and not being able to work since July, I need your help. The amount I seek won’t cover everything yet it sure will help.

Know that I am working with Dr Fournier, The Best Osteopathic Doctor Ever! Her support & research, the love et support of family and friends and my deep connection w/my Divine has me knowing I am getting through this. Is this the greatest challenge of my life? You bet. Yet to my surprise and often comfort it has also been rewarding. I’ve already been asked to start a support group here.

I look forward to walking in the forest once again w/out worrying about falling.

Knowing that beyond the physical, I truly am Love, Light et Consciousness has been a saving grace especially on days when I am having a moment.
