I am a proud Australian veteran who served in the Royal Australian Air Force. Like many veterans, life after service has brought unexpected challenges, and right now I am relying on an ageing van as my home and my only means of transport.

Unfortunately, the van now needs essential repairs to keep it safe and roadworthy. Without it, I am at risk of losing not only my transport but also the security and independence it provides.

A blogger who has shared my story has inspired many people to ask how they can help. This fundraiser has been created to give those people a simple way to make a real difference in my life as my medical condition hinders my ability to perform work tasks efficiently.

Every dollar raised will go towards repairing and maintaining my van, including essential mechanical work and any associated costs needed to keep it legally and safely on the road. If more funds are raised than required for the repairs, they will be used to help with other essential living and transport expenses directly related to my wellbeing.
