My car has been having issues lately, and I suspect the alternator might be going out. This is a big concern for me because my car is not just a way to get around—it's my money maker. I work Monday through Friday in Ocean Beach, and I also drive Lyft on the side to help make ends meet. Without reliable transportation, I risk losing both sources of income, which would make it even harder to support myself and my kids.

Since moving and starting my new job, I haven't been able to get ahead. I live paycheck to paycheck, and I'm currently working on credit repair. On top of that, I'm spending a lot each month in gas just to keep up with my work schedule. I'm hoping to apply for a property management position in North County when something becomes available, but until then, I have to make this thing called life work with one income.
