Our car’s transmission went out unexpectedly, and it’s our only way to get to work. Without reliable transportation, we can’t get to our jobs, which means we’re at risk of falling behind on rent and utilities. As a graduate student, I’m already scraping by—working full time while balancing tuition and living expenses. Like so many others, things are tight, and this setback has made it even harder to keep up.
Getting my car fixed would mean everything to me right now. It would allow me to keep my job, stay on top of my bills, and most importantly, not lose my housing. I’ve been doing my best to stay positive, but I’ll admit I feel pretty down and at a loss. The world is tough for everyone right now, so we’re grateful to our communities for their support!
If you’re able to help or even just share my story, it would mean the world to me. Every bit of support brings me closer to getting back on my feet and moving forward. Thank you for taking the time to read and for any kindness you can offer.
