Hi everyone, I really hate having to do this, but I’m in a bad spot right now and I honestly need help. My alternator went out in my car, and because of that, I’ve been unable to work for the last 3 days. For those who know me, you know I’ve been doing GoPuff and Uber to make money right now. For those who don’t, that means my car is literally how I survive. I don’t have a regular paycheck coming in — I rely on being able to get in my car and work so I can cash out and have money day by day for gas, bills, food, and everything else. So when my car went down, my income stopped immediately. I’m already stressed about falling behind on bills, and every day I can’t work is putting me in a worse position. I’ve been trying to figure out how to handle this on my own, but right now I’m just stuck. Usually when I’m desperate, I’ll go donate plasma to try to come up with extra money — but now I can’t even do that because I got put on a 1-week deferral due to my protein being too low. So right now, I can’t work… and I can’t even use my backup plan to make money either. And on top of all of that, I’m getting really low on kitty food for my babies, which has me even more stressed. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my cats, and not being able to just go handle things the way I normally would has me feeling overwhelmed. I’m not asking for help because I want to. I’m asking because I genuinely need a little help getting through this. Anything donated will go toward getting my car fixed so I can replace my alternator, get back on the road, get back to work, catch up on bills, and take care of my babies.
