Hello, friends. This is a tough ask for me since I usually make asks to help others.

As many of you know we were in a car accident yesterday that caused major windshield and front end damage to my car. The at-fault driver is uninsured. I spoke with my insurance agent and adjuster and was advised that my deductible will be $2,500.

Working in municipal government (because I prefer to help others over working in the corporate environment) means budget living which in turn means no extra money at all for me to cover this deductible.

It’s extremely humbling to be in this position. Anything you can give would be more than appreciated.
