Help me finish my transition due to failed surgery

Thanks for looking & reading my story; so where to start?

In June 2019 I went in to start the final stages of my transition, this was the first stage of Phalloplasty that I had to fight tooth and nail to get onto the NHS waiting list for.

I finally got a date and was extremely excited to be on the final path to finishing my transition and feeling like my body matches my brain.

I had a 10 hour + surgery and all went well until the following day; the nurse unfortunately wouldn’t listen when I said something was not right.
It took several hours for another nurse to notice that my phallus had died and this was due to a haematoma that had developed earlier on in the day.

I was given the dreaded news that my Phallus had to be removed, I was distraught, in shock and unable to process any thoughts & to top it off I had extremely low blood levels and would require 3 units of blood, this of course then meant I could no longer give blood, which I was passionate about doing.

I thought I was getting closer to the end of my transition but that was all taken away from me.

The surgeon had used my non dominant arm to create the phallus and the only other ways in the UK are now via my thigh or stomach (neither are suitable as per the surgeons requirements)
So now I have a huge scar on my arm and this is a constant reminder of what I could have had, had the nurse listened to me.

I went to open a medical negligence claim, however this was unfortunately denied by the team of solicitors due to the fact that there needs to be an independent surgeon looking into what went wrong and because all the surgeons in the UK are trained by the same surgeon, the solicitors cannot find anyone independent to review my case.

That was going to be my saving grace and would enable me to go privately to a surgeon who would do the procedure that I can have but is not practiced over in the UK. (Using my back)

I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.
My scar reminds me everyday and I have been left with severe anxiety and dysphoria due to the event at my last surgery.
My GIC will make me wait now and with the waiting lists going up constantly over in the UK and obviously COVID there could and will be a significant wait.

I could have been on the way to stage 2 of 3 by now, which leaves me feeling absolutely awful.

I will never be able to save £30,000 to get this life changing surgery and I really would be so grateful of anyone’s help.

I know money is tight for everyone, but even a share of this campaign would help in a serious way.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my ramble, I honestly appreciate it. Update: in order to have the two stages that are most important at present, I have updated the amount to reflect this.
