♥️ A Humble Request From a Teacher ❤️

As I reflect on the hurdles I faced and what is to come, I am reminded of the powerful words from Psalm 34:4-6, which state, "I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles." These verses have provided me with strength, hope, and reassurance throughout this journey, and your collective support has been a true testament to the power of faith and community.

Hello everyone,

Today, I am reaching out to you all with a humble request for your support as I strive to complete the final requirements for my professional teaching certificate. Asking for help is not something that comes easy to me, but teaching is my true calling in life, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

As a dedicated special education behavior teacher, I have been working tirelessly to create a safe and inclusive classroom for my special needs students. Each day, I witness the challenges they face and the progress they make, and it reinforces my belief that teaching is not just a job for me, but a purpose.

However, I find myself facing a significant financial hurdle that is hindering my progress. To continue teaching next year and make a lasting impact on my students' lives, I must fulfill several requirements by early May. These requirements include completing two professional education courses that cost $700 each, taking a professional exam that amounts to $150, applying for the professional license with a fee of $75, and settling the remaining fees for my college courses to obtain my college transcript for review.

I want to emphasize that if teaching wasn't my true passion and purpose, I wouldn't ask for help. But I believe in the power of education and the transformative impact it has on the lives of children with special needs. It's not always easy, but the joy and fulfillment I experience when I see my students thriving and growing make every challenge worthwhile.

Unfortunately, my family has faced financial hardships, and I am unable to meet these expenses on my own. Your support and generosity would mean the world to me.
