Help me to help kids

Hi, my name is Angeline and I am building a shed in my backyard with a special purpose. It's a "storage shed" for my dreams.

Those of you who know me, will know I've been dreaming of creating this place for decades. Ever since I met my first teacher, Patricia Nolan.

I am a child and family psychotherapist working in the Mid North Coast.

For over 25 years, I have worked with children under 12 years who have emotional and behavioural challenges and additional needs. These beautiful children are amazing. I have a tremendous sense of hope for the future from what I see working with these children. I also provide support for parents.

I want to create a sanctuary, surrounded by nature, to work in service of the children and the families I help.

We have recently purchased a property that is the special place I have been looking for. Now is the time for my shed to be built, to house these dreams.

A special person donated most of what I needed to build the shed, in the way I dreamed was possible.

I am pouring as much of my own resources and time into this project as I can, but I need a little more help from you to get across the line.

You can see how far I have come in the above picture. I have enough to finish the roofing. I have purchased the cladding, the doors and windows. The last step to being at lockup, watertight and safe, is the labour to clad and install the doors and windows.

I will continue to keep on funding as much as I can as I go. I still have more work once its at lock up, including the septic, the internal lining, the electrician, etc. All this can happen one step at a time.

For now, I really want to be sure my shed can be watertight, and all that we have done so far can be protected.
