Help Me Finish 2 New Dead Robot Albums

Hi, my name is Christopher Garrett and I’m a 28 year old musician and visual artist living in Washington. I’ve spent 10+ years working on my craft almost every day, aiming to tell truthful stories using surreal, abstract mediums. In the last few years, I’ve self-released over 50 songs as Dead Robot, hundreds of 3D artworks as SINEWAVEKID, and recently released a 3D animated short film as a companion story to my album “Transference” which took around 9 months to create.

I have always been proud of my self-reliance and problem solving skills to get ideas out of my head and into reality, but I simply can’t do it alone anymore.

Since the pandemic, all my creative and business opportunities have come to a halt, and I’ve been relying on music royalties (as well as the generosity of family and friends) to stay alive. I've also applied to 50+ design jobs in my area over the last year with no luck whatsoever.

Earning a combined total of around $350 monthly from Spotify and other platforms as an independent artist, without any other means of income like live shows isn’t nearly enough to live off of. This stress and bad timing of this situation has taken a toll on me mentally and physically, so I humbly am asking for your help.

My goal with this GoFundMe is to help with a financial cushion for the next 2-3 months, so that I can properly finish my next two albums, hire talented artists to help with live instrument orchestration and animated visual components, and of course keep myself alive and healthy.

The next 2 albums are both around 60-70% finished musically. The 1st album has yet to be titled, but is a collection of around 10 fun and experimental melodic songs that genuinely make me really happy every time i hear them. The 2nd album is titled "Fear as The Fire Grows" , and is a darker electronic album of around 15-20 songs which has been in the works since as early as 2016. It hybridizes trap, metal, dubstep and other genres to tell a story about how fear and bad ideas can control you if you don't fight them with love.
