Help an International Student Bring His Dream Game to Life

My name is Abdul Nafay, and ever since I was a kid, I’ve carried one dream with me: to create worlds that people can step into, explore, and lose themselves in. Games were my escape, my inspiration, and my way of imagining a bigger life than the one around me.

Coming to the United States as an international student was a huge step forward in chasing that dream. But it has also come with sacrifices. Every day, I balance heavy tuition fees, rent, and the responsibilities of living far from home. While I’m grateful for the opportunity to study here, the reality is that most of my resources are tied up in just making ends meet.

Still, I couldn’t let go of that dream. I’ve been teaching myself, creating in every free moment, and now I’ve already built the prototype for my own game: a sci-fi platform runner called VOIDRUNNER. The core mechanics are there; It’s real, and it’s playable. But to turn it into a polished, professional game that people will truly enjoy, I need support.

Things like development, assets, voice acting, music, testing, publishing, and marketing all come with costs that I simply can’t cover on a student budget. That’s why I’m asking for help.

This GoFundMe isn’t just about funding a game, it’s about helping me prove that with enough passion, hard work, and community, even the dreams of a kid halfway across the world can become reality.
