Hello my people,
My name is Malobi. Some of you know me as Ifeanyi, while some of you know me as CEEG, and for the past few years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping intending immigrants, international students, and newcomers navigate the challenges of the Canadian immigration system. I’ve supported many people for free, hosted lives, in person event, and answered countless DMs, and built a safe community for intending immigrants and newcomers who often feel lost and alone.
Asking for help publicly is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.
But I am at a point where I can’t continue on my own
Why I’m Asking for Help?
In 2024, I was laid off. (Many of you know)
I just entered a consumer proposal.(like bankruptcy) because of the weight of my debts
I’ve been carrying a lot of debts while rebuilding my life from scratch.
That experience shook me deeply. It made me realize I needed something stable to fall back on if a layoff ever happened again. That’s what pushed me to enroll in the Immigration Consultant Diploma. .
The program that would allow me to become a licensed immigration consultant and finally turn my passion for helping immigrants into a regulated, professional career.
I wanted this diploma to be my safety net. My backup plan. My long-term career.
I also wanted it to be a surprise to you all. Something I would reveal proudly after graduating. I imagined coming back next year saying, “I finally did it!”
But the truth is…
I can’t continue financially.
And staying silent would mean being withdrawn from the program after all the progress I’ve made
So I have to open up now, even though it’s uncomfortable.
What I’ve Accomplished So Far?
Despite everything, I have already:
1. Passed the foundational course(the biggest and most difficult one)
2. Enrolled in two more courses
3. Maintained strong performance (See screenshots)
I am doing the hard work.
I just can’t afford the tuition payments.
Why I Really Need Support?
This program is not eligible for OSAP, which means I cannot receive government financial aid.
I have applied for private loans multiple times, but I’ve been denied every time because:
• I am in a consumer proposal
• My credit report is still recovering
• My financial situation doesn’t meet lenders’ requirements
So, even though I am working hard to rebuild, I have no loan options available at the moment.
Why Your Help Truly Matters?
This diploma is not just about me.
It’s about the people I will serve every day.
Graduating next year will allow me to:
• Become a licensed immigration consultant
• Offer affordable, ethical, culturally aware services
• Support even more immigrants, families, and students
• Grow my platforms and host more workshops
• Build a stable career I can rely on no matter what happens
I know the timing isn’t perfect.
Everyone is going through something.
That makes asking for help even harder.
But I believe in the impact this diploma will have not just on my life, but on the lives of the people I help.
How You Can Support..
Any amount , $5, $10, $20, $50, 1000 naira, 5000 naira,e.t.c will go directly toward my tuition so I am not withdrawn from the program
