About the game

The first episode of the Crazed Side Universe game follows a talking guitar agent named Soy as he attempts to figure out whose been wiping out major cities in a universe created and run by robots. Along the way, he starts to see flaws in this supposedly “perfect” universe built by the machine god Gilgamesh. Eventually he will have to choose for himself who he wants to be and what this universe will become. No pressure though.

I’m a big fan of immersive sims and giving the player lots of freedom to choose how they will complete a mission, whether they use certain augmentations like teleportation or freezing time or find an unseen path to get ahead. Think classic games like Deus ex. But more insane, like anything you’ve stumbled upon at 3 Am on Adult swim while half asleep.

Your actions will also change how the game plays out as well as what ending you’ll get in the final episode. Help out a person outside the law in the game? The police will come after you and you’ll be forced to hide in shadows. Help the police instead? Well, that may have dire consequences for the less fortunate in the universe. And they may seek revenge.

What donations will be used for

To be blunt, right now to have a place to live while I finish this game. I’ve been struggling to find any work in the small town I exist in and I need to pay the bills and I’m only a month and a half away from being homeless. Not to mention I live with my mom and have 3 cats to feed, too [ahem, cute cat picture at the bottom of this page]. I would need at least 2K a month. My plan would be to at least have enough money for 4 months [feels like a good start at least] so that I can at least try to get a job by then or finish this game and hopefully make a living from it.

Besides that, I also need better equipment for the game. My current computer is having lots of troubles and I do need to get another computer to be able to optimize the game and all. Something fairly low end, but powerful enough to run Unreal engine 5 at least, which is what my game runs on.

So, that’s pretty much it. I have everything else covered for the first episode of the game, acting, animation and all. I just need a lil push to finish this game, so I’d be grateful if anyone could help me out, even if it’s only a few dollars. Thank you.
