Hi everyone, my name is Anissa, and I’m raising money to help cover my school expenses as I finish my Medical Assistant program and take my national exams.

I’m currently completing my externship and will be finishing December 12th, and I’m also finishing my Associate’s Degree in General Studies this winter term. I’ve worked really hard to get to this point, and I’m so close to finally stepping into the healthcare field.

My goal is to become a Certified Medical Assistant and eventually work in an OB/GYN clinic. To get there, I need to pay for a few important things that aren’t covered by financial aid:

• CCMA exam (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant)

• CPT exam (Certified Phlebotomy Technician)

• Winter term textbooks and materials

• Other school-related fees while finishing my associate’s degree

With everything happening at once — externship, school, and preparing for two national exams — these costs have become really stressful for me financially. Any amount would truly help, even a few dollars. It all adds up and gets me closer to starting my career helping patients and making a difference.
