I am raising funds for myself as I return to school full time to finish my bachelor’s degree at VCU. Going back to university as an older student is a big step, and while I am proud to be making this change, the cost of school is overwhelming. Beyond tuition, I am also facing the day-to-day expenses that come with being a full-time student, including supplies, bills, and the ongoing costs tied to my instrument. Instrument payments, upkeep, rental costs, and repairs are all essential for me to continue my education and stay on track.

This decision comes from a place of wanting better for myself so that I can help others in the future. I truly believe that it is never too late to keep growing, learning, and working toward a better life.
