Help me give FREE baseball leagues to Tacoma kids!

I am a baseball fan, and I believe everyone should have access to play the greatest game ever invented. As the coach of a middle school in the eastside of Tacoma, I was able to see first hand, the impact baseball can have on young people! I fielded a team of young men, that had never played a game of baseball in their lives. I watched them as they worked their butts off to get better every single practice and every single game. I watched them lose every single game, but they smiled and had fun doing it! I've never seen anyone cheer so loud over losing a game by only one run, as these boys did!

What I also watched was half of the team not being able to afford basic equipment. I had to watch some of the boys use the old, past their prime gloves that the school provided. I watched as we had to purchase PROTECTIVE CUPS, because some players families couldn't afford them. Those cups being purchased from personal funds. I watched as we played schools that had mostly club players, kids who'd probably been playing most of their lives. Kids that had their own bat bags, where each player had their own bats, some having 2. Every kid having their own helmets, batting gloves, and even SLIDING MITTS. My boys never complained, or asked why THEY didn't have that equipment. They just went out and played with what they were given, and they loved it, and I love them for it! They have reignited my passion for coaching and ignited a desire to share baseball with EVERYONE, regardless of if they can afford it or not!

I am starting this Go Fund Me because I have decided to start a nonprofit that will allow anyone who wants to play baseball THAT OPPORTUNITY! I want to start a league that is free to play, which includes players fees and equipment. I want to start a league that teaches kids how to play baseball, but also teaches them sportsmanship. I want to give them a safe place to have fun and be active, the same way I was fortunate enough to have when I grew up.

That being said, it wont be easy OR cheap. This campaign is going to be used to get the organization started. It's not free to start a business, so every dollar you donate will be used to start the process of incorporating, both federally and with the state. I will provide complete transparency with every dollar you give. Every dollar will be used in the creation and start of this organization.
