Help me find Justice for Lindsey
Hi, my name is Jim Conforti and as many of you know, my wife Lindsey passed away on Friday March 26, 2021. Lindsey was betrayed by people she trusted, preyed on by peddlers of poison, and eventually killed by a fentanyl overdose.
The fight began on Monday, March 29. I've left my career and have devoted my life to bring Justice in Lindsey's memory to victims of drug abuse and most importantly, victims of FENTANYL. It's become all too clear that our country is overrun with this poison. It's found in almost every street drug out there and it's also masquerading as legitimate prescription drugs like the one that killed my wife.
I know of 15 seemingly unconnected people in the West that have fallen victim.
FIFTEEN! I shouldn't know ONE.
These criminals do not fear the government, and they do not fear prison.
LET THEM FEAR US! LET THEM FEAR THE FAMILIES!
Did you know that in Utah as well as 16 other states and the US Virgin Islands, a family member can SUE a drug dealer for the harm they have caused by supplying their loved one with illegal drugs? I didn't. This law was passed in the late 90's thanks to Daniel Bent, a US Attorney from Hawaii who authored the model legislation.
It's called the Drug Dealer's Liability Act. It allows families and employers to pursue the assets of the dealers to a level even asset forfeiture cannot reach.
A civil suit is the only direct remedy available to the families.
A civil suit gives us the power to subpoena phone companies, banks, Paypal, Venmo, Uber, and all the rest.
The mission isn't money, the mission is to use money to shine the light on these vermin.
The mission is to use the money of one drug dealer to fight the next.
The mission is Justice for Lindsey and every other loved one we've lost.
Please help me fight this fight as I educate other families to stand up and FIGHT BACK!
