My name is Justin, and I’m 22 years old. I’m reaching out because two years ago I was diagnosed with an extremely bad nerve injury. This condition has made it impossible for me to work, and most days I find myself confined to my house, unable to do almost anything. The unpredictability of my diagnosis means I don’t know if I have three days or thirty years ahead of me. 

Despite everything, I recently experienced a moment of true happiness when I was able to ride my friend’s motorcycle. I’ve ridden as much as I can since and for the first time in years, I felt a sense of freedom and joy that I thought I’d lost. As crazy as it sounds, because riding forces you to be so present and use your body in a certain way, it actually helps my condition. I’ve tried going the medical route with doctors, treatment plans, and nothing seems to be working. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a motorcycle of my own, but I know that having one would be truly life-giving and help me find hope and comfort during this challenging time. I tried to go other ways before coming here (asking family and friends for help) etc but they weren’t really of much help.
