Hello everyone,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart but also a sense of hope. I have been living with kidney disease, end-stage renal failure, for 7 years and my doctors have informed me that I urgently need a kidney transplant to continue living a healthy life. After exhausting other options like dialysis, I am now turning to the possibility of finding a living kidney donor to help save my life.

The Situation:

I’m currently on the kidney transplant waiting list, my blood type is B+ but the wait for a compatible donor can take years, and time is something I don’t have. Every day, I live with the limitations of my condition—feeling fatigued, dealing with constant medical appointments, and struggling to maintain my quality of life. But there’s hope, and that hope lies in finding a living donor who is willing to give the gift of life.

A living kidney donation not only helps to shorten the wait time but also provides a higher success rate for transplant recipients. I am doing everything I can to find a match, but the process is challenging, and time is critical.

How You Can Help:

1. Be a Donor: If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a living kidney donor, please reach out to me. Even if we are not a match, there are paired donation programs that allow donors to help in exchange for matching someone else in need. * Medical Costs: While the transplant surgery itself will be covered there are many other medical expenses not fully covered. Medical equipment and devices or home care needs.

* Travel and Accommodation: I may need to travel to a hospital outside of my area for the transplant, which brings additional costs for travel, accommodation, and other logistical expenses.

* Lost Wages: This disease has put additional financial strain on me and my family as we navigate this life-changing event.

* Support for My Family: My loved ones are also affected by this journey, as they have needed to take time off work to care for me and your donations will help support them as well.
