Please read my situation. I really need your support right now!
Hi! My name is Alexandre. I have autism, epilepsy, general anxiety disorder and myalgic encephalomyelitis.
I am spending a lot of time with doctors and specialists to solve ME/CFS, control my seizures, manually stimulate my lymphatic system and my blood circulation because my auto-immune system and body temperature self-regulation is being comprised.
All this is already complicated to deal with! I thought I had enough health issues, but here is the bigger challenge. A major vein in my right leg is collapsing and the blood doesn’t pump back to my heart like it should. I will need a surgery in private hospital because the wait list in public healthcare system is so long, I have 3 possibilities happening at any moment: a blot clot forms and travels to my heart (heart attack), a blood clot ends up in one of my lungs (pulmonary embolism), a blood clot ends up in my brain (brain stroke). That’s really scary because it could happen next week, next month, next year, I have no idea, the doctors have no idea.
The main followups at the hospitals are all covered by our public healthcare system. The complimentary medical treatments aren’t. The physical therapy and physio are essential to maintain blood circulation and also helps a lot to reduce symptoms of Chronic fatigue syndrome.
In January 2022, I have been infected with Covid, than another flu-like virus, than a sinusitis, bronchitis, keratitis, stuck with long-haul covid on top of my ME/CFS according to my internist doctor.
Recently, on July 1st, I have posted updates on my social networks about another ER visit that ended up being a costochondritis. It never stops! I hope
I will have better days coming!
I have organized a fund raising lately by selling some of my stuff I could live without, and it was a great success! Thanks to all the buyers!
When things went worse for me in spring 2022 I got faced like everyone else to the increasing cost of life and inflation, but starting to skip treatments because of a low budget. Even running low in my diapers supply like I never did before! I have pushed on every sides to get help, including my fundraising. Again, thanks for all the generous donations!
I need to get that surgery done as soon as possible, and this is 5,000$ approximately. JFF is one new alternative I have setup lately to give something in return for my followers and fans for a very low cost. Thanks to my new subscribers!
I’m a super shy person who never asked anything for years. I hate to do this again, but I am asking for a bit more boost in my fund raising or alternatives to overcome that deficit that makes me deteriorate fast my general health without the regular treatments I really need medically.
Even 5$ donation or tip is more than welcome and really matters to me.
I will keep posting what’s going on on my 2 main blogs and JFF when I can. I’ll try not to focus too much on hospitals, but more on the positive aspects of fighting and winning against health issues that I deal with everyday.
I believe that embracing my narrowed field of interests as an autistic adult, and sharing openly to my followers and friends is something very positive for me, hoping to inspire ppls to be themselves, never hide, overcome fear and shame to ask for help when needed, and live our lives to the best possible and everyday.
Thank you a million times for understanding and be supportive.
Just an ordinary person with special needs and BIG challenges on this planet,
Alex ✌
