Hi friends! Many of you know that my heart condition, supraventricular tachycardia, has landed me in the ER many times over the years. Out of the blue, my heart will often start beating over 200 beats per minute. Not only is this scary and uncomfortable, it also makes me dizzy and exhausted. I very often can't make it stop on my own, requiring ER trips and medications that take a lot out of me. Even one extra cup of caffeine or too little sleep can trigger it. I always worry about what would happen if I had an episode while driving or alone with Lukas.
The good news? There is a pretty simple procedure that is highly likely to remove this challenge from my life permanently! I'm finally having the surgery to get this fixed, but even with insurance it's not cheap. Anything you can donate is helpful! Thank you so much for your support through this.
