On May 27, my mother, Toni, passed away suddenly. Mom had been in and out of the hospital and a nursing home for about 6 months and was expected to return to the nursing home after her last stay in the hospital. Her will was to stay alive, but her body simply gave out.
I took care of mom for the past tens years, acting as her caregiver. Her pension from the state of Ohio was the only source income we had. With her passing, that income has been taken away. As I had no other job, I am now left without money and at the end of the month, no place to live.
I am asking for $3000 to help me cover mom’s final expenses, plus allow me to make the move to New York where a place to stay is waiting for me. The money would allow me to recover the nearly $1000 for mom’s cremation, plus give me the money to pay off our truck and get it placed in my name. What is left over would be used in moving. The money is needed as soon as possible as the state of Ohio has taken back mom’s last pension payment, leaving me overdrawn at the bank for over $1300.
Any amount you can give will help and be greatly appreciated.
