My name is Maninderjit Singh And I am 28 years old. I was diagnosed with Leukemie AML (a type of blood cancer) in July 2nd.After getting my induction chemotherapy, i got discharge from the hospital. After that i was coming as an outpatient for two months for consolidation chemotherapy. Doctor advised me that i need a stem cells transplant. For that i need to admit in the hospital again for 4-6 weeks. I started looking for the accommodation near the hospital for my caregiver(mom and dad) because they are living in Brampton and it is very difficult for them to come to meet me in the hospital from Brampton via uber/lyft in winter season. My mom and dad are on visitor visa and my elder brother is only earning hand here in Canada. He is also not able to work properly due to my illness since July 2021. I didn’t had any critical illness insurance and my EI benefit has been stopped. I would be great if you guys can help me out during my tough time.
