Help me fight to stay in France
Hey everyone!
I'm an American student in a Master 2 program in Paris, and I have a big problem with the French administration. If you agree, I'd love to get your help!
To brief, I did the wrong procedure for my student visa application and now I'm supposed to leave France, go back to the US, and stay there for a year. However, the problem is that I have (after 2 years of living in France) my whole life here. I am studying, I share an apartment with my partner (a French national), I have worked as an English assistant in a daycare (during COVID), an intern, a nanny, etc., I pay my French taxes, and I have just been offered a position in one of the ministries in France!
I feel good in France, I love the country and I want to stay here, if not for my whole life, at least the majority of my life. For all these reasons, I'm going to fight this judgment and make the necessary appeals to at least cancel the obligation to leave the French territory.
For this reason and to fight for the chance to stay in this wonderful country, I would love to get your help to pay the lawyer fees (3,000eur) for these appeals. The two internships I did were not paid (including one at UNESCO) and currently I teach English online to children in China, because I have an American contract, but I am at the end of writing my Master's thesis, and with the undocumented status my working options are limited.
Thanks for your help in advance, literally every penny counts and I'm eternally grateful for any of your support!
Sincerely,
The Midwesterner in Paris
