Hi, my name is Florian, and I’m reaching out for help another battles. A few months ago, I was participating in a clinical drug study when elevated markers showed up in my blood work, leading to a diagnosis of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC). This rare and aggressive form of thyroid cancer comes from the C-cells and often requires immediate, specialized care. I never expected this, and the risk wasn’t disclosed to me until the possibility was already being investigated.

Right now, I’m facing:

Medullary thyroid cancer treatment can be expensive, and even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for surgery, medications, genetic testing, follow-up imaging, and supportive care are adding up quickly. I want to focus on getting better and beating this without the constant stress of mounting medical bills. I’m staying positive and determined — MTC is highly treatable when addressed aggressively, and I’m grateful to have a strong medical team behind me. But I can’t do this alone financially.
