Help Me fight a heart surgery gone bad.

My story goes a little something like this—-

I had a procedure done on my heart March 20th, 2024 (Implantable Defibrillator/Pacemaker) which was supposed to be a 2hour surgery turned into a 5-6 hour procedure.

After this procedure I suffered some serious complications which could have cost me my life. But I made the correct decision by listening to my body and going back to the hospital shortly after returning home from MY ICD IMPLANTABLE PACER, DEFIBRILLATOR RESYNCHRONIZATION STSTEM surgery.

I returned home and for a few days was doing just fine and focused on healing and getting through the first 30days. Little did I know the whole time there was a leak in my heart from the procedure that was small but over 4 days had cause blood and fluid to begin to collect around my lungs and heart, I was having an extremely hard time sleeping at night and could not breathe, my fiancé rushed me to our local er where I live and there is where they told me I had lots not fluid built up and needed to be transferred immediately to Vidalia GA where my cardiologist was located…..

They threw me in the AB and took off!!

Upon Arrival in Vidalia GA, they immediately began testing everything and ordering Cat scans, X-rays etc!!

I was hospitalized for 2days as they watched me and waited for information to come in. Also had a lung tap done while there to release some fluid. WHICH TURNED OUT TO FLUSH 2L ALMOST 3L OF BLOOD!

At this point they knew thus was a concern and needed to get me back to the Hospital who originally performed the procedure, I was told if I would have gotten 1 more pint of blood form “MR WILLIAMS YOU COULD HAVE DROWNED IN YOUR ON FLUID.”

I was literally breathing off of 1 lung…

They requested I be Air Vac asap!!!!

The Helicopter came 5min later and I was in the Air within 10-20mins .

When I Arrived at The Hospital when I am still currently at, it was like a freak show.

THE HIGHEST OF THE HIGH RANKS AND TOP DOG DOCTORS WERE ALL AT MY ROOM. THEY IMMEDIATELY MADE ME COMFORTABLE AND BEGAN A FEW BED SIDE PROCEDURES WHERE I UNDERWENT LOCAL ANESTHESIA ONLY… ONE WAS AN ARTERIAL LINE PLACED IN MY LEFT WRIST THE OTHER WAS A CHEST TUBE THAT ACTUALLY WAS NOT A SUCCESS THE FIRST ATTEMPT (THIS WAS EXTREMELY PAINFUL AND I WAS AWAKE AND WATCHING THE ENTIRE PROCEDURE. Reason for fail first attempt is cause my rib muscle is extremely thick and strong so the metal wire kept be ding and would not punch through. (OUCH)

The moment the doctor did get it in position it was as if something or someone filed my lungs with enough air to begin breathing again normally! The Doctor said if it did not work it could have been bad for me again.

Thanking GOD!! That none of these facilities and or their staff gave up when everything looked so unsure and there was no true explanation to why the bleeding was happening.

NOW IM STILL HERE FIGHTING TO HEAL WITH A TUBE IN MY CHEST, INTERNAL BLEEDING, having to take breathing treatments because I still am trying to get my lungs to catch up and heal, also caught strep throat while here. Pacer and defibrillator are working fine. Unfortunately, my kidneys are now giving me an issue and Im also being given blood everyday until the levels go back up.

Im asking ALL MY TRUE FAMILY, AND LOVED ONES TO PRAY AND KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS PLEASE.

With everything going on Me and my fiancé have not been able bring in an income and we have just about depleted the small amount of savings we have been using since my health condition placed me out of business twice now (17years of trucking came to an abrupt halt) and her out of work as well to be there as my caretaker is extremely difficult fir ys at this point.

I AM REACHING OUT TO YOU ALL. FAMILY, FRIENDS, FAMILY OF FRIENDS, FRIENDS OF FAMILY, ASSOCIATES AND ANYONE WITH A GIVING HEART FOR A MAN WITH A FAILING HEART AND HIS FAMILY.
